SPONSOR-A-CHILD
Children attending our homes come voluntarily off the streets or are brought by public officials. In each case, one or both parents are dead, imprisoned, or have otherwise abandoned them. In our MDICs, we accept only the poorest of children, in rare cases they may even have both parents, but lack their basic needs and are starving. Drop-in centers are places in urban settings where stateless and homeless children can "drop in" daily for a meal, bath, clothes, medical, dental, and psychological attention, education assistance, and a place of belonging.
These children are real and by sponsoring a child you are invited to open a correspondence with him/her via email. Consider joining one of our expeditions where you can meet the child you sponsor. The minimum sponsorship commitment is three months, but it is not uncommon for some to sponsor children year after year, and develop a relationship with them. In all cases children are taken into our care prior to resolving legal guardianship. A small percentage of your sponsorship funds are used to rescue these children until a sponsor is found. Child sponsorship funds are appropriated as needed for operations in Generations Humanitarian homes and centers, with $7 monthly allocated to the cost of administration of the funds.
